About me

Welcome to my website! I am an Italian Chemical Engineer based in the Netherlands.

I am a MSCA postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, at the Process Intelligence Research Group. My research focuses on AI-driven chemical process design, with particular emphasis on process flow diagram generation and retrofitting using reinforcement learning. I aim to develop context-aware agents capable of designing and optimising processes without retraining for each new application, integrating chemical properties, reaction behaviour, and engineering constraints directly into the learning framework.

I earned my PhD in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven in the Centre for Industrial Process Technology, and my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples “Federico II”.
